Neurodiversity Awareness - Module 4 - Autism

Autism is a complex neurological condition affecting sensory processing, communication, and social interaction, with diverse manifestations and needs. Understanding these differences and providing appropriate accommodations can significantly improve inclusion and support in various environments, especially workplaces. This module covers the definition and characteristics of this neurotype, as well as looking at diagnosis prevalence and it variability around the world. The module considers both the strengths and struggles and looks at what adjustments might be useful in the workplace.
