Access to Work - Awareness Half Day Workshop

Awareness Workshops 
Our standard half day workshops can be delivered in-person or virtually to groups of up to 25 participants.

Workshops provide greater interactivity, discussion and activities, based on standard content. Workshops will provide a wider overview of neurodiversity and awareness of different neurotypes, such as Dyslexia, DCD/Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, ADHD and Autism, as well as how to support neurodivergent colleagues in practice.

Introduction: Who are Genius Within?
What is Neurodiversity, and what is included?
History, language, and prevalence.
Overview of neurotypes – ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia.
The spiky profile.
Strengths and challenges.
Intersectionality and masking.
Legal implications.
Reasonable adjustments and Access to Work.
Personal and organisational strategies.
How to be an ND ally.

Manager Courses

All management courses are designed around the needs of your leadership teams and involve some time consulting with you to curate bespoke content.

Content may include:
ND Awareness (if not conducted before as above).
Having the conversation – Disclosure.
Reasonable Adjustments.
Communication Techniques (Clean Language).
Managing Conflict.
Performance Management.
Creating a Neuroinclusive Culture.
Neuroinclusive Advertising, Recruitment & Retention.
