Access to Work - Lunch & Learn Awareness Session

Lunch & Learn Style Session 
Our lunch and learns are delivered virtually to groups of up to 25 participants. They are aimed at providing a general overview of neurodiversity and awareness of different neurotypes, such as Dyslexia, DCD/Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, ADHD and Autism, as well as how to support neurodivergent colleagues in practice. Choose from a 60-minute presentation with Q&A, or 90-minute event with additional interactivity.

Standard Awareness Content:

A choice of 4 of the following is included in the event:

Introduction: Who are Genius Within?
What is Neurodiversity, and what is included?
History, language, and prevalence.
Overview of neurotypes – ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia.
The spiky profile.
Strengths and challenges.
Intersectionality and masking.

Legal implications.
Reasonable adjustments and Access to Work.
Personal and organisational strategies.
How to be an ND ally.
